Our company was funded in 1970 by Jaime Berga in Cambrils (Tarragona). By the end of the 70`s rapid growth of the firm obliged us to move to our current headquarters which are located on the N-340 highway, between Cambrils and Salou. During the last three decades, we have adapted, according to our needs,into a spread of 18.000 metres squared, conditioned to best enable us to attend to all the services required of us in the field of recreational and sporting sailing: sales of new and second hand boats, storage, reparation, chartering etc. However, to all real purposes, to speak of “Hermanos Berga” really implies speaking from its perspective as an importer of water craft.

In 1992 we became exclusive Spanish importers of all boats of the “AZIMUT” range; for cruisers as well as boats of other lengths. Three years later, in 1995, we amplified and enlarged our tender into the segment of fishing-cruisers by importing boats of the variety “TIARA”. Today we are proud to offer exclusively to our clients boats from two of the most prestigious shipyards of the world.

At present, our company employs a team of more than 25 professionals completely dedicated to the world of boats and sailing. When first we set out on our venture, our initial slogan was: “our experience at the disposal of sailing”.Today, 30 years down the road, this slogan is ever more applicable and expresses the continuing reason for the existence of “Hnos. Berga” and for our motivation to develop, progress and evolve.

In order to be able to give our clients better service and more personalized attention, in April 2004 a new office was opened at the Marina Botafoch on the Island of Ibiza

It is an honour for us that our office has been chosen as a model outlet by the “AZIMUT” team to pilot a new drive that will eventually be used to spearhead their image by all their distributors, at all outlets.

Besides sales and chartering, our team in Ibiza would also be pleased to provide all types of customer assistance during your stay on the island, such as moorage reservation, hotels, restaurants, car rental, laundry (including onboard collection and delivery) etc.

In addition, we provide a complete range of spare parts which will allow any necessary reparations to be carried out as speedily as possible.
